Successful LA PetroFIX Project

The Legacy Remediation Team recently completed a successful PetroFIX direct-push injection project at a compact but busy service station in Los Angeles County.
PetroFIX, supplied by REGENESIS Remediation Solutions, is a remediation reagent that combines activated carbon and electron acceptors to absorb and biodegrade petroleum hydrocarbons in the subsurface.
Due to limited onsite space, our team mobilized and demobilized the injection trailer, equipment, and PetroFIX reagent daily.
We used our smallest Injection Platform, and a track-mounted Geoprobe 6011DT, whose compact footprint and solid power made it the ideal choice for advancing injection tooling to depths of up to 65 feet, which can be challenging in this part of town. With the right equipment and an experienced crew, we made a challenging project look easy.
