Legacy Remediation recently completed a direct-push injection of an alkaline-activated Klozur® sodium persulfate solution in Alameda County.

Using a Geoprobe® 6011DT, we advanced direct-push injection tooling at 40 injection points, each with an approximate 10-foot radius of influence (ROI), targeting depths between 12 and 28 feet bgs.
Injections were performed at three to five points simultaneously, with injection rates between 2 and 4 gpm/point.

The Klozur® sodium persulfate and 25% sodium hydroxide solutions were supplied by Evonik and delivered directly to the jobsite, where they were received and offloaded by the Legacy Remediation team using a mini-reach forklift.

Because no water source was available onsite, water was trucked in from a nearby hydrant.
We utilized one of our self-contained mixing trailers, which managed onsite chemical mixing, pumping, and real-time injection tracking.

This project is another example of our team’s commitment to safety, efficiency, and quality. Our field crew and project manager were able to keep the project on schedule and within budget.
