One of our NorCal project teams wrapped up a Geoform-ER (Extended Release) Slurry Direct Push Injection project in Santa Clara County.

We utilized a Geoprobe 7822 Direct Push Rig to advance our direct push slurry injection tools to the target treatment interval between 30 and 42 feet.

The Geoform-ER reagent, supplied by Evonik, was stored onsite in a portable container for secure and easy access.

Geoform ER was mixed into a thick 25% slurry mixture. a consistency that resembles wet concrete when mixed. Its density can make mixing and pumping a bit more challenging, but with our equipment we were able to inject it efficiently and effectively. Once injected in the subsurface, its provides long-term treatment.

The team also bioaugmented using KB-1 Microbial Culture and prepared anaerobic mix and flush water using KB-1 Primer, both provided by SiREM Lab. We prepared the anaerobic mix and flush water in a Frac tank we kept on site.

Our self-contained mixing and injection trailer made for a quick, organized, and clean setup, helping the team work efficiently while maintaining a professional, safe worksite.

Another great example of collaboration, planning, and execution coming together to deliver results.
