We are happy to report the recent completion of another safe and effective direct push application treating TCE and other VOC-impacted groundwater.

The selected remediation remedy was enhanced reductive dechlorination (ERD) with using a vegetable oil based organic substrate, along with bioaugmentation.

EDS-ER vegetable oil based organic substrate was provided by Tersus.

It was delivered in bulk shipments and stored onsite in a dual wall storage tank onsite.

KB-1 microbial culture for the bioaugmentation was provided by SiREM.

The vegetable oil based organic substrate was mixed within one of our self-contained Injection Trailers.

The direct push tooling was advanced with a Geoprobe 7822DT direct push rig.

We utilized a top-down injection approach, using 5-foot long injection tools.

We simultaneously injected into 8 direct push points.

The individual pressure, flow rate, and total volume was managed with our 10-point injection manifold.
